How to Set an Overall Ticket Capacity for an Event
Follow these steps if you have capacity restrictions or need to set a limit on the total number of tickets available to purchase for your event.
From your PlayOn HQ Dashboard on your mobile device, find the event you'd like to manage. Click Edit.
Click on Management from the menu at the top. Then, scroll down to find the Event Settings panel. Click the pencil icon to edit these settings.
You'll see Event Capacity, where you can select Total tickets available for this event and enter a specific number. This will cap the maximum number of tickets that can be sold overall for your event. It does not put a limit on specific tickets, if you have more than one ticket type.
Click Update to set your event capacity.
How to Manage Ticket Sale Date and Times
If you need to set or adjust when your tickets go on and off sale, you can first navigate to your event and then click on Tickets from the menu at the top.
From the Tickets page, find the ticket you want to edit and click the View dropdown menu.
This will make visible the ticket information underneath the ticket image.
From here, you can toggle on or off the On Sale option to entirely stop or start ticket sales.
Click Edit Ticket to adjust the sales times.
From the Edit Ticket pop-up, you can adjust the name and price of the ticket.
You'll want to click the check box for View optional ticket settings and then click Next in order to adjust sales times.
Now you can enter start and end date and times for your ticket sales.
You can also limit how many of this ticket type can be purchased per order, and any associated ticket fee.
