How to Set Up Your Account to Receive Payments via Direct Deposit or Checks

How You Get Paid for Your Events

When receiving payments from GoFan for your events, you can set up direct deposit or receive checks. 

  • ACH / Direct Deposit: The fastest and most secure option for having funds deposited directly to the bank account for your organization. GoFan can only deposit funds, we cannot make withdrawals.
  • Check: If ACH is not yet set up, a paper check will be mailed to the address in your account settings.

ACH details and payment preferences cannot be changed after the initial setup. Please contact our Finance Team to make changes by emailing finsupport@gofan.co.

Financial settings for your account can only be viewed and edited by your account's Financial contact. For complete instructions, see our guide How to Create and Manage Contacts in HQ

Setting Up Your Direct Deposit 

Login to your PlayOn HQ account. If you do not have an account yet, set one up using your school email address.

Next, go your PlayOn HQ Dashboard and click Accounts from the left sidebar.

If you are part of more than one account, you will then select which account you'd like to manage.

From the Accounts Page, select the Financial tab.

Press the eye icon before entering in each field so you can see the numbers as you type.

Use a check for your account details and not a deposit slip.

To edit the Payment settings from direct deposit to a check for your school, the existing payment method must be changed by our Finance Support team. Please reach out to them at finsupport@gofan.co to process the edit.
