How to Manage Ticket Availability

  • Updated

If you have created tickets for your event, but the GoFan event page shows a "There are no tickets at this time. Check back soon" error message, check the steps below to resolve the issue and display your tickets.

Tickets are Not on Sale

If the GoFan event page displays the "there are no available tickets" error message, your tickets may not be set as On Sale in your Tickets settings.

Find your event from your HQ Dashboard or click Events from the left-hand menu.

HQ Dashboard > Events

On the Event Summary page, look under the Tickets on Sale Header.

If the On Sale toggle is turned off (greyed out), turn it on so that the toggle is green.

On the same page, click the Event Link from the Drive Sales panel to see if your tickets are now on sale.

If you see your tickets, they are now available to the public.

If you still don't see your tickets, continue checking the following settings.

Tickets Have a Hidden Link

From your Event Summary page, click Tickets from the left-hand menu. Click on Edit Tickets in the top-right of the Event Tickets panel.

On the Ticket Setup page, locate the Hidden Link toggle. If the toggle is on (green), this will be causing the tickets to only be visible through a private link.

To turn the Hidden Link off, toggle it to gray. Then, click Save.

Navigate back to your event page to confirm that tickets are available.

How to Use a Hidden Link

If you want to use the Hidden Link for a ticket, navigate to your Event page, then click Tickets.

In the top-right corner of the ticket, click the double arrow icon to flip the ticket image around.

Click Ticket Link. This will open the private ticket link that you can share with your purchasers. Note that the ticket set to Hidden Link is only available from this direct link and will not appear on your event page

Ticket Sale Start is in the Future

If the event page shows that tickets will be available at a future time, tickets have an on-sale date assigned to them.

From the Event Summary page, click Tickets on the left. Then click Edit Tickets.

On the Ticket Setup page, click the checkbox for View optional ticket settings.

Under Optional Ticket Settings, you will see the sale start date and time.

You can adjust this or remove the on-sale start time restriction by clicking into the date and time boxes and erasing the dates and times so these boxes are blank. Then click Save on the page.

You can then check your public event page to confirm that tickets are now on sale.

Navigate back to your event page to confirm that tickets are available.

Ticket Sale End Date is Passed

If the GoFan ticket page says that "This event has passed and tickets are no longer available for purchase" but the event has not taken place yet, you can check the Sale End Date settings.

From the Event Summary page, click Tickets on the left. Then click Edit Tickets.

On the Ticket Setup page, click the checkbox for View optional ticket settings.

Under Optional Ticket Settings, you will see the sale start date and time.

If the Sale end date/time have passed, click into the boxes and erase the date and time so these boxes are blank. Then click Save on the page.

Navigate back to your event page to confirm that tickets are available.
