Once tickets for an event have been sold, there are some settings that cannot be changed. Learn about which settings you can change for tickets before and after they go on sale.
Editing Tickets Before Going on Sale
Before you sell any tickets for an event, you can add new ticket types, remove ticket types, adjust ticket availability, and change ticket prices.
To edit your tickets, go to your HQ Dashboard and find your event listed or click Events on the left.
From the Event Summary page of the event, click Tickets on the left. Then, click Edit Tickets in the top right.
Here, you can edit the ticket name, color, price, whether the ticket is on sale, whether it is public or private, and Box Office settings.
You can also check the box for View optional ticket settings.
Here, you can edit the sale start and end date and times. You can also set the ticket limit per order and family ticket settings.
For more details about setting up the times your tickets will be on sale, see our guide How to Manage Ticket Sale Dates and Times.
For issues seeing your tickets on your GoFan event page, see our guide How to Manage Ticket Availability.
Editing Tickets After Going on Sale
When editing ticket settings, you may see certain fields are not editable if any tickets have been sold already. Once tickets for your event have been sold, you will no longer be able to adjust prices for those tickets, edit the ticket name, or change the attendee pays fee setting.
If tickets have already been sold, but you need to make adjustments, you can stop sales by toggling off On sale and Box Office (if on).
As a workaround, you can also create a new ticket with the correct settings if you don't want to continue selling tickets with existing settings.
