How to Use Fan Zone in HQ

  • Updated

What is Fan Zone?

Create stronger connections with your fan communities with the new Fan Zone feature! Without leaving PlayOn HQ, you can browse and share video clips and short-form content directly to social media to foster community engagement and drive more fan interaction.

Get Started

In your HQ Dashboard, click Fan Zone under the Quick Start menu. You'll land on the Engagement Hub.

Here, you can choose to post a video clip on your school's social media site to showcase your students or players.

Coming soon, easily create social media posts with preloaded content—like matchup graphics—and share photos with your community directly from HQ!

Feature a Video

From the Engagement Hub page, click Feature Video.

On the Videos page, you will see any NFHS Network Clips that you have recently shared on your social media platforms, as well as recommended videos that have recently been created by your Fans.

Clips are created on the NFHS Network by your Fans and typically include a big play or highlight from your event broadcasts. Click on any Clips to view them on the NFHS Network. For more information on how to Clip, see our guide How to Create Fan Clips of Events on the NFHS Network Fan Support site.

To share a Clip to your school's social media site, scroll down to Recommended Videos and hover over the video and click Promote Clip.

Next, you can draft your social media post.

In the Promote Your Video panel, select which social media platform you'd like to use to promote your Clip, choosing either Facebook or X (formerly Twitter).

In the Post Content box, you can type or paste in your text up to 100 characters.

You will see a link directly to your selected NFHS Network Clip, which will be included in the post.

To continue sharing your post, click Promote.

This will then direct you to your school's social media platform, where you can preview and finalize your post. Note that you must publish the post directly from your social media site.
